I cant take it anymore!

Well, I finally get around to writing in this damn thing. Most Blogs consist of only their first entry. Mine almost consisted of none. Now, Unless I update again, I will be one of the statistics that consists of only their first entry. Anyway, back to what bothers me. Ugh I cant believe that we are seeing that there are more pictures of abuse. Well, we wont see them because they were destroyed, but remember, these actions and pictures were the work of only a few Bad Apples, and is NOT a reflection of our fighting forces. Partially True. THEY WERE ORDERED TO DO THIS TO EXTRACT INFORMATION! I agree that not all of our kids in the military are like this, that are torturers that take pleasure in finding information. So, yes, what Bush et al are saying is a half truth, but it is a lie to say that the torture was the idea of one or a few soilders, and Rummy et al had no part whatsoever in this crap. The guy that recently went to jail for torturing prisoners was a fall guy, plain and simple. He got pinned, and I bet he got a deal for it too. He was not the only one, and he was not the mastermind. He was following orders. ~~~~~ I read this in the paper yesterday, and reading between the lines, you can tell that we did some pretty fucked up shit to the people that WE captured, and at least we REALLY fucked with the ones that we know we have in places like Gitmo and Abu Graib(sp?) Basically, the article says that these soldiers (which Bush had a photo op recently with saying that he would fight for them) were tortured and abused in Iraq in the First Gulf war. There was a law passed that allowed them to sue the nation of Iraq for their pain and suffering, and they won, to the tune of around a billion dollars for all of them to split. Surprise, surprise, they never got Paid. Now, they are asking the new Gov't if Iraq to pay up, and Bush is saying no, that these are New Iraqi's, and that they really need the money, so you guys should drop your claims against Iraq. What was done was done, and no amount of money will fix it. As you may guess, the former POW's are pissed. Reading between the lines, Bush doesnt want to establish the precedent of a nation paying restitution to the victims of war crimes they perpetrated. In the case of US, torture of "enemy combatants". Could you imagine the amount of cash that we would hafta pay when all of our victims come to collect? You think that we have a deficit now, oh boy, you just wait till the chickens come home to roost, er, collect. We're Fucked. I am seriously thinking about getting checked out for depression, I am not sure if I can emotionally last through the next four years.~~~~~~~Tired of Hearing that Exit polls are Unreliable, and that Exit polls are can not be trusted to expose fraud? Well, so is somebody else, and it wouldn't be the person that most peole think it is, it would be Dubya. In fact, he paid for exit polls in the recently contested Ukraine election "because they were one of the "ways that would help to expose large-scale fraud." "So, tell me again, WHY did the exit polls in Ohio give a sweeping Majority to Kerry, yet Bush won the state?Beats me.
